·       Hashem should guide the therapists to build reproducible and comfortable immobilization device for _________before her/his CT scan

·       Hashem should make the CT scan of _____________ clear so that the doctor can accurately identify the target

·       Hashem should guide the physician to accurately contour the target and choose the appropriate and most effective radiation dose and fractionation

·       Hashem should direct the planner working on __________’s radiation plan to elaborate appropriate beam angle, energies and shapes to aim at target only and spare all surrounding healthy tissues

·       Hashem should lead the physicist working on the linear accelerator/radiation machine to accurately calibrate the beam energies and constraints every day so that it delivers precise treatment

·       Hashem should guide therapists setting up _____________ every day on the treatment couch and using immobilization device so that he/she is comfortable and can reproduce same position for all his/her treatments

·       May the Ribono Shel Olam make the radiation treatment of ____________ effective and she/he should have no side effect from the radiation

Shekalim 1

Parent and Child: Rabbi Shlomo Kluger (Kehillat Yaakov; Shekalim 1) explains that when the Holy One, Blessed is He, created a person with a body and soul, He gave them as a gift to  the person. We belong to ourselves, and God relates to us as independent children. However, when we rebel against God, it is considered as if we have stolen the gift of our lives from the Creator. A thief who cannot repay what he has stolen is sold into slavery to pay his debt. It is impossible for us to repay the Creator for the gift of life, and we are sold, so to speak, into slavery.   The ability to transcend the desire of the Nefesh into the reality of the Neshama by way of the Ruach (clear articulation) is in fact the process that allows us to glimpse through God’s “mirror”. But more than that… When, for instance, I go from “I want to cope well” to picturing myself at my best, I have aligned the mirrors as in “K’mayim HaPanim L’Panim”; it’s not two different mirrors, it becomes one.
